Three-part Breath (sometimes called Dirgha breath) allows us to explore how we naturally breathe. Through this journey of the breath, we can discover how breathing into different spaces in our body can create new sensations physically and emotionally. We encourage you to go into this practice with an open mind and curiosity. Keep the edges soft and rounded. Don’t try to take in all the air you possibly can, or expel every ounce of air with each breath. Allow yourself to find ease in your breath. Remember, at the end of this exercise, there are a few journaling prompts to help enhance your experience.
