As we’ve made our way up through the chakras we now find ourselves at the center of our consciousness and intuition. The sixth chakra, Ajna – to perceive and command, is also known as the “3rd eye.” It’s associated with our right “to see” but to see more than just the physical. It’s about being able to see what’s going on around you, and also your ability to see where you want to go, your vision for your life.
Here’s what Ajna looks like when it’s out of balance:
Excess
Hallucinations
Delusions
Obsessions
Difficulty concentrating
Nightmares
Deficient
Difficulty visualizing
Poor memory
Lack of imagination
Poor dream recall
Denial
When it comes to infertility the sixth chakra can be blinded by the desire to have a baby. Often it starts with the denial of there being an “issue.” Then the “need” to reproduce gets in the way of financial, physical, relationship, and emotional health.
Next week: ways to work on your sixth chakra.
