Hatha is a physical practice typically slower in nature and with longer holds than a vinyasa/flow class. It can be challenging for some because the holds require you to sit with what is. You’re asked to really look at your stuff, the good and the bad. Many of us are notorious for ignoring our stuff. We choose not to see the reality right in front of us. But all that avoiding does is to perpetuate the problem. No matter how good you are at numbing or disconnecting from your thoughts, your feelings, or a situation; the lesson will come back around until you do the work. As you move through this 15-minute practice, we invite you to notice what thoughts bubble up and where they might originate.
